LOS ANGELES (February 16, 2024) — Angel City Football Club (ACFC) partnered with The Niles Foundation on Saturday, Feb 10 at their monthly pocket park beautification of the Niles Foundation Park. Over 20 volunteers were able to refresh the garden space by clearing weeds, harvesting fruits and veggies, and performing overall garden maintenance.

In addition, Tyler Mishá Barnett, the artist of the club’s 2024 Black History and Futures Month Collection also volunteered along with several other members from the community of Los Angeles. The merch collection includes a hat, scarf, and t-shirt that highlights the inspiration in the beauty and depth of Black culture. Ten percent of proceeds from this collection will be donated to The Niles Foundation as a part of ACFC’s unique impact program.
